I have added MemMapper.hqx to incoming at "ftp.pica.army.mil"
Note: one must make sure the memory image is "updated" (menu) when
things in memory change.
System memory in the "About this Mac.." is (sum of) Hi Mem, Lo & Heap,
& Finder, (what about sys7.1 File Sharing ?). How close do these add up??
There is one "quirk" (non-fatal bug) that I have seen:
The image of memory isn't always cleared correctly when memory is freed
up, so two copies of the same thing might appear (if you add things up, it
will be greater than total memory).
Well, I had hoped that this utility would shed light on the problem of
LabVIEW not being able to "run twice" (free up RAM), but Craig McCluskey
has reported that he's not seeing the reason for the "lost RAM"
Is this the situation: after running LV w/30Meg RAM, then quitting, it
shows the 30Meg but doesn't let it run again?
