DOS\Windows 3.1 does not support more than 16meg unless you have a EISA
machine and add the /EISA to himem.sys in config.sys EXample
device=C:\windows\himem.sys /EISA
"If you use the /EISA option do not load any device drivers that use the
Int15h/88h bios call to allocate extended memory before loading HIMEM.SYS."
The previous is from the WRK book for windows 3.1 I think.
Also there is some consideration explained further in WRK. If you must use
the Int15=option For example if you must reserve 128 Kilobytes of extended
memory use following command line in config.sys device=c:windows\himem.sys
/EISA /INT15=128 I am just quoting what I read. I do run Labview on EISA
machines Dell 466de and ME's but do not have more than 16meg available in any
one machine at this time. So I have never tried /EISA but DELL technical
support says the/EISA should work to make the machines see more than 16 meg
memory. If you are on a ISA machine DOS\windows 3.1 does not see more than
16meg.

Unless you have modified your win.ini LABVIEW not see more than 4 meg for it's
total memory use 3 meg for application and 1 meg for data. If unfamilar with
this read LABVIEW Configuration options p.12 in Labview for windows release
notes version2.51 part number 320540-01
