Hi,
I work at DESY in Hamburg with LabView on a Sun Sparcstation10, in connection
with the RF-Group which prepares some Measurements of Superconducting cavities
for a new accelerator.

A colleage, who is working on a PC has some Problems with the application
memory of LabVIEW.
Here he is, describing his problems with the application-memory in LabView:

MainVI and SubVI contain bitmaps, controls and indicators on their front panels.
Both use global variables in the block diagrams. SubVI is invoked when
special button is pressed on the front panel of the MainVI. After 7 or 8
pressing (runs) LabVIEW reports : "Application Memory Full".

What is the cause ?
How can I escape this situation?

MainVI setup options : Dialog Box, Allow Run-Time Pop-Up Menu,
Auto-Center - on, the rest - off.
SubVI setup options : Show Front Panel When Called,
Close Afterwards If Originally Closed, Dialog
Box, Allow Run-Time Pop-Up Menu - on, the rest - off.

Configuration: CPU - 486 50MHz, RAM - 8MB, DOS 5.00, WINDOWS 3.1, LabVIEW 2.5.2
win.ini: [LabVIEW]
totalMemSize = 7000000
