I started out with DLLs simply because it was easier to obtain and use a
compiler to build them rather than CINs. This was in the days of LV 3.0.
And since I became familiar with DLLs and the compiler I was using to build
them (then Borland 3, I think), I never had a real reason to try CINs.
Others around me have tried creating CINs, and the success seems to have
been mixed. I've been interested in trying them to see what the differences
would be from my point-of-view, but that means first becoming familiar with
VC++ or a compiler that supports CIN development.

My apologies if this has been discussed recently - do CINs offer a
performance advantage over DLLs? Under what conditions?
