Locked VIs in LabVIEW

When LabVIEW acquired the ability to lock diagrams with a password, one of the first applications for theis feature was for NI to start locking their own code which had formerly been open. The reasons given by NI for this are that this hides techniques that are proprietary and being patented and that it hides LabVIEW functionalilty that is not stable and under development.

For a LabVIEW 7 installation on Mac OS X (where there are no DAQ VIs) and with the following toolkits, Fuzzy Logic, PID, SPC, GSim, Wavelet and Filterbank Design, JTFA, Internet. There are 5111 VIs of which 549 (11%) are locked and 57 (1%) have CINs. Here is a list of the locked Vis.
